Certificate distribution ceremony

On November 30, 2016, 110 women who completed three courses—Tailoring, Goat Rearing, and Cow Rearing (including dairy products)—gathered for a special day at Maria Bhavan, Bableshwar. The tailoring students showcased their stitched work in an exhibition. Dignitaries from the Central Bank and Maharashtra Bank spoke on the importance of this training and the necessity of opening individual bank accounts. They also informed the women about new schemes designed to help them in the long run. Mrs. Alka Tribhuvan, a member of the savings group, spontaneously thanked the animator, Sr. Catherine Pereira, for her dedication to empowering the women and bringing out the best in them. Many women expressed gratitude to the organizing body and individuals involved in the program. Many illiterate women were beaming with joy upon receiving their certificates. The event concluded with lunch, and the participants left feeling happy and empowered by the program.
