Childrenâs day and self-employment workshops at Maria Bhavan, Bableshwar
đ November 14, 2016 ⢠đ Maria Bhavan,  Bableshwar
On November 14, 2016, approximately 300 children from Bableshwar and surrounding villages attended a well-planned Children's Day program. The day featured various activities, including games, mehendi, tattoo artistry, hairstyling, and drawing. In the afternoon, children enjoyed group games and watched video clips focusing on child labor and other awareness programs. A stage program followed, aided by volunteer youth from the Parish. Each child received a bag of goodies at the end of the day. Area seniors noted this was the first time such a grand program had been held for their children, with the sentiment 'the program was just great!' resounding throughout the event. The following day, November 15, marked the inauguration of two government-certified workshops under the 'Gramin Svaya Rozghar Prashikshan' (Rural Self-employment Workshops) scheme. Women enthusiastically registered for these six-day workshops, which provide both training and meals. The workshops cover Dairy Business and Goat Rearing. This initiative has already made the women, especially those who are uneducated, feel important as they attend the training sessions with their notebooks.
