Sewing machine distribution at Jag Prakash Kanya Chatralay, Pansora

On October 25, 2016, Jag Prakash Kanya Chatralay – Pansora hosted the distribution of sewing machines to 50 students. Mr. Udaysingh Parmar, Member of Anand Zilla Panchayat, served as the Chief Guest. Other invited guests included Sr. Magdeline Sequeira (Mumbai Province Development Co-ordinator), Sr. Isabella Joseph FMA (National Development Co-ordinator), Fr. Dinesh SDB (Amrut Dhara Director), Sr. Nayana Vankar (Superior of JPKC), and Shaileshbhai (Event Officer of Kaira Social Service Society). The program commenced with a prayer dance set to the song 'Gata rahe mera dil,' followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest and other dignitaries. Following a welcome with flowers, Sangitaben, a staff member of KSSS, shared an overview of the activities of the Salesian Sisters of Don Bosco, including free tuition, sewing classes, a beauty parlor, Auxilium English Medium School, health centers, and awareness programs on government schemes. The guests were requested to distribute the sewing machines. We extend our gratitude to Mr. Udaysingh Parmar and Shaileshbhai for their generous donations. Sr. Magdeline expressed her pleasure at the women's progress achieved through the Centre's activities. Sr. Isabella congratulated the women and encouraged them to strive for personal development. The event concluded with the Garba dance.
